Restrap does Turkey - Bike Check

Here at Restrap, our team has one mission - each year we hit the road and get a big tour in. Over the years we have toured Croatia, Japan, the North Coast of Scotland, Spain, France and more. This allows us to shake down our kit, test it in the field and take in the joys of bikepacking. 

Fresh from the release and premiere of Hvala Croatia, we got our heads together and planned our next trip. In search of somewhere uncharted and unridden, we scoured maps for our next destination. After countless hours of pouring over maps, we settled on our next destination: Turkey.

This tour would take us along the Aegean coastline from Dalaman in the south, through the mountain ranges surrounding Izmir and finishing at the historic city of Istanbul. 

With this tour promising to be dry and dusty with unpaved roads and tracks, we geared our bikes towards being able to handle the rough stuff. This trip was kindly supported by Albion Cycling, Schwalbe Tyres and Alba Optics.
