Switching it up in 2026 – We've won a Design and Innovation Award

This is the big one. The eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted sneak peeks of our then-prototype rack last year. Maybe it was on Josh Reid’s Tour Divide bike, or Angus Young’s FKT of the Eastern Divide Trail. A few of you may have even seen some pre-production samples at the odd trade show.

After close to two years of development, we are now understandably excited to announce that we will be fully launching the Switch Rack – alongside some other additions to the Switch ecosystem – on 26 February 2026.

“So why are you telling us about it now?” we hear you ask.

We believe so strongly in the Switch Rack, we sent a production sample to the Design and Innovation Awards and, well, we won!

A little more about the Switch Rack

We will share full details of the rack in February, but it would be remiss of us not to give you a little more background information right now.

• Thru-axle mounted aluminium alloy rack
• 64mm spaced bolting on the rack legs for cages, Restrap Switch Panniers or any other compatible accessories
• Top bar will be compatible with Restrap Switch ecosystem new products
• High Grade 7075-T6 aluminium 12mm diameter axles in 1mm, 1.5mm and 1.75mm thread pitch options
• Compatible with 142mm and 148mm Boost spacing
• Spare axles available separately
• Compatibility with UDH and Transmission hangers/mechs (spare parts available separately)
• 25mm velcro strap to fit all seat post sizes and shapes
• Quick flip system provides maximum wheel clearance across all bike sizes
